Age of Empires Mobile Halloween Carnival Event Guide

Age of Empires Mobile Halloween Carnival Event Guide

Halloween Carnival is a new time-limited event in Age of Empires Mobile. In this event, you can get some great items that will boost your account. But overall, we are not impressed with the event. The reason is that all good things, like city themes, are extremely expensive. Even for the pay-to-win player price is ridiculous. We will cover everything you need to know about the Halloween Carnival event, including how to get points and skins.

Masquerade Party

Masquerade Party

The Masquerade Party is a place where you have to donate pumpkin lamps to get points. These points will increase your level. After you complete the level, you will be able to claim rewards. All players have access to the Basic part of Masquerade Party, while you must purchase the Advanced part. The Advanced part is not bad, but only purchase it before the event ends when you are sure that you can claim all rewards from leveling. Also, one big letdown is that there is no permanent town center skin that you can get for progression.

Pumpkin lamps that are used for leveling in the Masquerade Party can be obtained from the Halloween Carnival quest or by opening the Halloween Hamper.

Candy Feast

Candy Feast

Candy Feast is a place where you can get a Halloween hamper chest that contains Halloween candy, Halloween chocolate, a spooky scythe, and a pumpkin lamp. Now, the most obvious ones that you will complete are defeating tribes and gathering resources. Make sure that you give your best to complete these two.

When it comes to consuming Empire Coins, be careful where you spend them. Only spend on Legendary Advent, Hero Rally, and VIP if you want to. Really spend your Empire Coins only on things that you need. Do not spend randomly just to get a Halloween Hamper chest.

Ghost Hunter

Ghost Hunter

Ghost Hunter is a place where you will join or create a rally against ghosts. To summon ghosts, you need to use the Spooky Scythe item, which you can obtain from the Halloween Hamper. This is the only place besides the shop where you can get a decent amount of Halloween chocolate.

The Halloween chocolate drop rate from the Halloween Hamper chest is not great, so we recommend that you complete the whole Ghost Hunter section. If you are in a small or inactive alliance, you will struggle because there will not be enough players who will spawn ghosts. So we recommend that you join a pay-to-win alliance or an alliance that is full of active players.

Halloween Shop

Halloween Shop

Halloween Shop is a place where you will spend your Halloween candy and Halloween chocolate. We recommend that you spend only on legendary hero medals and legendary skill scrolls. If you are left with extra Halloween candy and Halloween chocolate, then you can spend it on what you need.

When it comes to cosmetics that are in the Halloween Shop, they are brutally expensive. We still do not understand how they come up with these prices. It is over $100 for a single cosmetic item, which is absurd even for pay-to-win players. It would be much simpler if they added cosmetics in Masquerade Party so free-to-play and pay-to-win players could obtain them.

Halloween Candy and Picks

Halloween Candy and Picks

Halloween Candy and Picks is a shop where you can purchase bundles to get Halloween candy and Halloween chocolate. Packs are extremely overpriced when you compare what they are giving you for the price. There are many better bundles that you can get. It is up to you if you want to purchase it or not.

Herald’s Magic Spell

Herald’s Magic Spell

Herald’s Magic Spell is an event where you will spin a wheel in order to get various skins that are not permanent. They have a duration. In order to get permanent skins, you have to spend Carnelian resources. The problem is that permanent city hall skins cost an insane amount of Carnelian. On top of that, to get spins, you need to spend a lot of Empire tokens, which is not worth it. Overall, stay away from this event if you are a free-to-play player or small spender. It is not worth it.
