The problem is that there are limited ways of obtaining Alliance Coins, and the majority of people do not know how to get them.

How to Get Alliance Coins in Age of Empires Mobile
There are a few ways to obtain Alliance Coins, but there is a limit to how much you can obtain from each way, and there is a 150k limit per week.
Sending Help to Alliance Members: Each time you send help to alliance members, you will get Alliance Coins. Each day, you can get a maximum amount of 2000 Alliance Coins. When you reach capacity, you can still send help, but you will no longer get coins.
Defeating Barbarians: Each time you defeat barbarians, you will get 50 Alliance Coins. Many players may not be aware that you will receive 50 Alliance Coins regardless of whether you defeat barbarians with one unit or five. So, if you really want to farm Alliance Coins, it’s best to attack them with a single unit.
Technology Donations: Each alliance has technology, but in order to research it, alliance members must donate resources. Each time alliance members donate resources, they will get alliance coins. You can send one donation every 30 minutes. This is the fastest way to accumulate a lot of alliance coins, but the problem starts when your alliance gets all researched at the max level.
When alliances get research at the maximum level, you will no longer be able to donate. Hopefully, developers will implement additional research buffs so that alliances can activate them like in other city-building games.
Alliance buildings: When an alliance starts building, members can help build it using troops. This means that when you join with troops to help build, you will get Alliance Coins as a reward.
Events: In Age of Empires Mobile, there are a lot of alliance events. To check if there is any alliance event going on, go to the calendar, and you will see the section alliance. Each alliance event, for example, a Trojan event, will give you a certain amount of Alliance Coins as part of the reward.

What to Purchase in the Alliance Treasury
When you get your hard-earned Alliance Coins, it is time to spend them. You can spend them in Alliance Treasury, but the big question is what items will give you the best value.
If you are a new player, then it is best to purchase XP Tome and Skill Points. You will need a lot of them in order to get your hero’s level and skills to the max. When you get the best heroes in Age of Empires Mobile on max level and skill then you can start purchasing what you need, like speedups. What you should avoid purchasing are resources. Purchasing resources with Alliance coins is such a waste. You can gather an insane amount of resources only if you are active.
