Skill Points is one of the most important currencies in the Age of Empires Mobile. Skill Points are used to level hero skills. Each time you upgrade skills with skill points that will increase in stats, making your hero more powerful. When your hero reaches max level 120, you can upgrade skills to level 40. When you take into consideration that you have to upgrade four skills and the number of heroes that are in the game, you will see that the cost is incredibly high. That is why it is important to know all the ways to get skill points.
Completing Events
There are a lot of different events in Age of Empires Mobile that will reward you for completing them. One of the rewards that you can get is skill points. For example, rallying against tribes will reward you with a decent amount of skill points. We recommend that you complete all events, no matter if they have skill points or not.
If you want to progress, you need all the free items and resources that you can get. Overall, what you want to do is defeat tribes and Rallying Tribal Vanguards daily, purchase skill points from shops, and most importantly, complete all events containing skill points.
Rallying Tribal Vanguards
When you rally Tribal Vanguards, you will get skill points as a reward. The number of skill points that you will get depends on the level of Tribal Vanguards and the amount of damage that you have done. Keep in mind that there is a limit to how many skill points you can get from Tribal Vanguards.
To check out your limit, simply click on Tribal Vanguards, and you will see text that says possible loot. When you click on a possible loot, it will show you what you can get from that Tribal Vanguard and the number of skill points that you can get for that day.
Defeating Tribes
Defeating tribes is a great way to get skill points when you reach the maximum amount from Tribal Vanguards. We recommend that you try your best to defeat level 30 tribes. They are dropping the highest number of skill points. There is no limit to how many skill points you can earn from defeating tribes. Your only limit will be stamina, which is used for attacking tribes.
Exploration
A lot of players forget about Exploration but it is a great place to get Skill Points. In order to get rewards like skill points from exploration, you have to complete a quest. Some quests cost stamina, but if you are after skill points, it is much better to spend it on exploration instead of Defeating Tribes. You get many more skill points from exploration.
Redeem Codes
The majority of redeem codes for Age of Empires Mobile contain skill points. That is why we recommend that you always redeem them and look for new ones. They have a time limitation, usually 2 weeks. After those two weeks, they no longer worked.
Island Tactics Shop
In the Island Tactics shop, you can get an insane amount of skill points that will definitely boost your skill leveling. Depending on your stage in Island Tactics, the shop generates Tactic Coins every minute for purchases. The Island Tactics shop resets every 7 days, so you have plenty of time to collect tactic coins so you can buy all skill points available.
Alliance Treasury Shop
The Alliance Treasury Shop is a place where you will spend Alliance Coins to purchase skill points. To get alliance coins, you can donate to alliance technology or do alliance events that will have alliance coins as part of the rewards. Alliance Treasury Shop resets every 7 days. If you are active, you will have no problems purchasing all skill points.
Arena Shop
Arena Shop contains a lot of skill points that you can purchase. You need Arena silver, which you can only obtain by defeating enemy players in the arena and ranking well on the leaderboard. The problem is that if you are on a server that is full of pay-to-win players, you will not rank best on the leaderboard.
VIP Store
The VIP store contains skill points that you can purchase. The problem is that you need Empire Coins to purchase them, which are extremely hard to get and used for a lot of other things. Even though skill points are heavily discounted, free-to-play players must decide if they are worth buying. If you are a pay-to-win player, then definitely purchase them.
Hero Recruitment
Hero Recruitment is a place where you will open packs. From this pack, you can get various items like resources, hero tokens, speedups, and skill points. The majority of packs can be obtained from events, but most importantly, do not forget to claim your free pack that you are getting daily.
In Game Shop
The game shop contains various bundles that contain skill points. Feel free to purchase it if you really need it. What pack you will purchase solely depends on your budget and what you want to do with the hero. Just keep in mind that there are packs specifically designed for skill points.
