Age of Empire Mobile is a game where power matters a lot. The more power you have, the faster you will progress, and you will be able to dominate other players. The problem in Age of Empire Mobile is that a lot of players do not know what to focus on to increase power quickly. Before we start, I have to say that one of the most important things that you have to do to increase your power drastically is to join the Whale Alliance. That is what boosted my account and helped me progress incredibly fast.
Gather Resources
Resources in the Age of Empire Mobile are extremely important if you are planning to increase your power. You can not research, build, heal, and train your troops without resources. If you are a new player, you will think that you do not have to gather a lot, but once you go to the end game, you will always lack resources because everything is so expensive. So you have to farm all the time. If you are not fighting barbarians or other players, you have to send your troops to gather.
Now to boost your gathering resources, you must use gathering heroes, talent trees, and skills. All this will drastically boost your gathering speed and the amount of resources that you can get.
If you are a new player, you should avoid fighting at all costs and invest in gathering heroes. When you are fighting, you will waste so many resources on healing that it will slow down your progression. Once you reach the end-game you should start fighting. Also, make sure that you invest in the best gathering heroes.
Spend Your Stamina
Always focus on spending your stamina. It should never reach the maximum amount. As you know, with time, your stamina fills, and there is a maximum amount that it can hold. Once it is full, it will stop filling, so you are wasting potential rewards from barbarians.
It’s best that you spend all your stamina before you go to sleep or AFK, so it doesn’t have time to reach the full amount. Try to fight the highest-level barbarians so you can get more speedups and resources, or join your alliance members in the rally.
One crucial thing that a lot of players forget is that you get 50 additional stamina for free each day that you can claim, so do not forget it.
Save Speedups and Resources
In Age of Empires Mobile, there are an insane amount of events that will give you insane rewards, like heroes, but to win them, you have to compete against other players, like in the event Mightiest Governor. To win them, you have to stockpile your speedups and resources so that you can use them all during the event.
Competition is hard because there are a lot of pay-to-win players, but I was a free-to-play player and even managed to get in the top 10. This is crucial for increasing your power because heroes in events are extremely overpowered but will definitely boost your power once you get them.
Whale Alliance
The whale alliance is one of the most important things you must join if you want to increase your power extremely fast. The Whale Alliance is an alliance that contains a lot of pay-to-win players who are spending a lot of money inside a game shop. Once they purchase something from the shop, the whole alliance will get an alliance chest containing speedups, resources, and empire tokens.
Most players in the Whale Alliance are active players, so alliance technology will be on max. On top of that, the Whale Alliance will control all important structures on the map that will give you various bonuses. Trust me, once I joined the Whale Alliance, it boosted my progression by 50%.
VIP Level
Push your VIP level so you can get bonuses in research and building speed. Also, you will get rewards daily that will boost your heroes.
Daily Quests
A lot of players forget about them, but they are extremely important. From your daily quests, you will get rewards that will help with your power. The problem is that I even miss daily quests sometimes because of a war or something interesting going on inside a game. So the best tactic for this is to do them immediately when you log in to the game for the first time that day.
Additional Builder
There are a lot of buildings that you have to upgrade in Age of Empire Mobile. From the start, you have two builders, but you can unlock additional ones. Unfortunately, to unlock the third one, you have to spend a small amount of money. But it is worth it if you want to increase your power. Focus on the town center and university.
Universal Speedups
Universal speedups are one of the things that players use wrong all the time. The Main thing where you should use universal speedups is University to research Military or Economy research. Never use them to speed up healing, training, or building. The reason is that the amount of research time it will take you to reach max is incredibly high. Once your research is at its maximum, you can start using universal speedups for training and healing troops.
