Alliances in the Age of Empires Mobile is the most important thing that you have to do when you create an account. Joining an alliance will provide you with so many benefits, including research, building, free resources, army stats, and much more. Without joining an alliance, you will slow down your progression by 50%, which is a huge number.
Age of Empires Mobile is a team-based game in which you collaborate with other players. Without an alliance, there is no point in playing. There are numerous aspects of alliances that you need to understand, and we will cover them all in detail.
Create or Join Alliance?
There are players who can not decide if they should create an alliance or join an existing one. If you are a player who is free to play (does not spend money inside the game) or you will not have time, then joining an alliance is better than creating one. When you create an alliance for free to play, you will be targeted by pay-to-win players, and they will not take you seriously. Also, other players will not join you when they see your power and that you are free to play.
To be honest, even if you are a pay-to-win player, managing alliances can be challenging due to the time-consuming nature of the process. You have to plan territory, launch attacks, handle diplomatic relations, manage members, lead wars, and much more. Being the leader of a successful alliance is an incredibly challenging task.
So for 99% of players, joining an existing alliance is the best thing to do. Even if you want to lead an alliance, try to become an alliance officer.
Alliance Ranks
Alliance ranks in Age of Empires Mobile are divided into core members (officers), elite members, senior members, and common members. The reason why alliance ranks are exciting is for easter managing players. Alliances can have up to 150 members, so managing all of them without alliance ranks would be a mess. Most authority and precision groups have core members, also known as officers, who can perform various tasks for the alliance. The maximum number of officers is eight.
The alliance leader is the owner of the alliance, having the authority to appoint officers and take actions such as deleting or kicking any members.

How to Leave Alliance
The majority of players know how to join an alliance, but they do not know how to leave because the button is somewhat hidden, so players do not click it by mistake. To leave the alliance in Age of Empires Mobile, go to the members section, and you will see the red icon above permission. Click on it, followed by the confirmation button. After you do that, you will leave the alliance, but you will have a cooldown. The more times you leave, the higher the cooldown will be. After the cooldown ends, you will be able to join any alliance again.
Alliance Warehouse
An alliance warehouse is a place where alliance resources will be produced and stored. These resources are extremely important for alliances because they are used for building, researching, and managing buildings.
You can get alliance resources and funds:
- The basic resource production of the alliance is composed of occupied cities and resource points within the alliance territory.
- Alliance wars, city sieges, and alliance assistance generate extra alliance funds.
Alliance Technology
Alliance Technology is one of the things that will boost your progression faster. When you visit Alliance Technology, you will notice that it offers various bonuses such as gathering, research, increased unit stats, and much more.
When you donate resources for Alliance technology, you will get Alliance coins that can be spent in the Alliance Treasury. So make sure that each time you log in, you donate the maximum amount that you can. It is 100% worth it.
Alliance Treasury
Alliance Treasury is a palace where you can spend Alliance coins that you earn. There are various items that you can purchase, like resources, speedups, teleports, etc.
If you are a new player, you should only receive XP Tome and Skills Points. To make your heroes strong, you will need a significant amount of these points. Once your heroes reach their maximum level and skills, you have a wide range of options to choose from. Just avoid purchasing resources. It is not worth it.
Alliance Help
Alliance Help is one feature that will drastically speed up your building and research time. Each time an alliance member sends help, it reduces the cost by 1%, which may seem like a small amount, but when you reach the end game, where research takes over 20 days, you will notice the significant time savings.
There is a limited amount of alliance assistance that you can get, but there is a way to increase it. In your city, you will see the embassy building. Each time you upgrade it, the amount of help you can receive will increase.
Alliance Gifts
Alliance gifts are free resources that the whole alliance gets for different activities. If you are in an active alliance, you can accumulate an insane amount of these gifts.
There are three types of gifts:
- Common: Common gifts will provide minor speedups and resources when alliance members accomplish small goals, such as upgrading the town center of a defeated tribe.
- Advanced: Alliance members will receive advanced gifts when they purchase packs or bundles from in-game shops. You’ll get a lot of these gifts if your alliance spends a lot.
- Golden Chest: Both common and advanced gifts give points, and when the alliance collects enough points, you and the alliance members will be able to open the gold chest. Rewards are great and definitely worth claiming.
Join the Whale Alliance
Whale Alliance refers to an alliance consisting of numerous players who invest real money in the game. Every player should give their best and join in. This is because the whale alliance will control all the map’s stat-giving buildings, have max-out technology, protect you, rank first in events, and give you a lot of free alliance cheats. This will definitely speed up your account, and even as a free-to-play player, you will be able to compete against small spenders who are not in the Whale Alliance.
