In Age of Empires Mobile, there are capital officers who will have certain titles that give different buffs. They are extremely important to get if you are planning to progress faster. King can give any title, while Tribune and Chief Elder can give any other title.
What is crucial to know is that before you start constructing buildings or doing research, you have to ask for a title. The reason is that if you do research or build it before getting a title, it will not have an effect.
Do not be afraid to ask for titles. They are crucial. Just make sure to express your gratitude to the officer who gave you the title. Tell the officer when you have finished using the title, as there are other players who also require it.
Kings also have the ability to bestow negative titles on players. They will give negative buffs, like slower gathering speed. They are really bad, and you do not want to get one.

How to Properly Use the Title
Let’s say you want to upgrade your Town Center to level 30. First, prepare the resources that you need, but do not start upgrading. Apply for the Chief Priest title, or ask the king, tribune, or chief elder to grant it to you. The Chief Priest title will reduce building time by 10%.
Once the title is activated in your city, you can activate the Town Center upgrade. Once you start upgrading, your time is reduced by 10%, and you no longer need to have a title. So inform the officer that you are one, so they know that they can give it to another player who needs it.
