In Age of Empires Mobile, deployable troops and troop capacity are two crucial aspects that every player must understand to enhance their gameplay experience. With additional deployable troops and troop capacity, you will be able to output more damage, gather more, destroy higher-level barbarians and much more.
Basically, by increasing deployable troops and troop capacity, you will progress faster and be able to make daily tasks easier.
Deployable Troops
Deployable Troops is the number of marchers you can deploy on the map. There are currently 5 marchers available in the Age of Empires mobile game. Increasing your deployable troops will allow you to send more marchers, participate in rallies, level up more quickly by attacking higher-level barbarians, defend objectives, and so on.
When you first start playing Age of Empires Mobile, your troop count is limited, but you can increase it. What is excellent is that you can, as a free-to-play player, unlock all five marchers, but it will take you some time.
To increase the number of deployable troops, you have to research a military technology called deployable troops. We strongly advise you to begin researching this technology as soon as possible. It will help you a lot with your progression.
Troops Capacity
Troops capacity is the number of units that your march can have. It can be seen that troop capacity does not play a big role, but it is extremely important, especially when you each end the game. In the end game, you will fight a lot, defend objectives, join rallies and loot other players. The higher your troop capacity, the more damage you will deal, and your march’s ability to carry more resources when gathering or looting enemy cities will also increase.
There are several ways to increase troop capacity; some are easy, while others are somewhat expensive or will take a long time to get.
Town Center: Each time you upgrade Town Center in Age of Empires Mobile, you will increase troop capacity. From level 25 to level 30, you will see the biggest increase.
Commander Level: Each time you increase hero level, you will increase troop capacity by 200. So it is important that you level up your heroes to the max level or use ones that you have at the highest level.
Unit Capacity Items: There are three troop capacity items in Age of Empires Mobile.
- Unit capacity increased by 10% for 1 hour.
- Unit capacity increased by 20% for 1 hour.
- Unit capacity increased by 30% for 1 hour.
Some limited events offer them, or you can buy them in the VIP shop. They are quite expensive, so I do not recommend spending your empire coins on them. The only time it is worth it is when you will fight a lot in an hour. 30% more troops will make a huge difference in damage and overall performance.
VIP: On Vip 18, you will get a buff that will increase your troops capacity by 3k. The number seems small, but it can make huge differences. Unfortunately, as a free-to-play player, obtaining this is nearly impossible.
